THE LEAD 
The DBU Women's Tennis Team wrapped up their regular season schedule defeating the no. 7 South Central regionally ranked Tarleton State TexAnns, 5-4.

The Lady Patriots have won their final three games heading into postseason play.

DBU dropped lines one and two in doubles action, but avoided the shut out with a win in line three. 

Madeline Coffman and Bianca Tijerina were awarded the win in line three with a forfeit by TSU.

After going 1-2 earlier in the match the Lady Patriots turned it around in singles play. 

The TexAnns were able to extend their lead winning lines one and two, but that would be all.

A rally by DBU included Maria Fernandez de Camilo outlasting her opponent in line three by a score of 6-4, 3-6, 6-2.

Coffman continued her winning in singles sealing line four 6-2, 6-2. 

Amanda Richter extended DBU's lead taking line five, 6-1, 6-0.

Bianca Tijerina was awarded line six due to forfeit by TSU,

UP NEXT
The Lady Patriots will head to the postseason, where they will participate in the National Christian College Athletic Association Regional Tournament on April 22-23. DBU will open the tournament facing Oklahoma Baptist and McMurry University.
