THE LEAD 
The DBU Women's Tennis Team had their three match win streak snapped after falling in the opening round of the National Christian College Athletic Association Regional Tournament to Oklahoma Baptist University, 5-3.   

The Lady Patriots scored the bulk of their points in doubles action winning two of the three lines.

Liz Slaughter and Amanda Richter claimed line two for DBU with a score of 9-7, and line three was secured with a 8-5 win by Madeline Coffman and Bianca Tijerina.

The Lady Patriots were unable to maintain the momentum dropping four of the five finished lines in singles play.

Richter notched another win for DBU with a 6-1, 6-0 victory in line five.
