THE LEAD The DBU Women's Tennis Team were defeated by Cameron University, 8-1. Cameron is ranked #17 in the nation, #2 regionally.
Liz Slaughter and
Amanda Richter turned in a score for DBU taking line two in doubles play.
Despite dropping lines one and three in doubles action, the Lady Patriots registered a 8-4, win off the rackets of
Liz Slaughter and
Amanda Richter in line two.
DBU would then go on to fall in all six lines of singles play, unable to mount a comeback.
Richter and
Maria Fernandez de Camilo, were able to expand their sets to three games in their loss.
