THE LEAD 
The DBU Women's Tennis Team fell to the Oklahoma Baptist Lady Bison, 5-3 in the semi-final round of the NCCAA National Tournament in Mobile, Alabama.

The Lady Patriots jumped out to an early 2-1 lead in doubles action, with Amanda Richter and Liz Slaughter locking down a 8-6 win in line two and Madeline Coffman and Bianca Tijerina claiming line three, 8-3.

Despite the early lead, DBU was unable to continue the momentum.

 The Lady Patriots would only win one line in singles play with Coffman securing line four, 6-1, 6-4. as OBU sealed the win taking four lines.  

The Lady Patriots finish their 2016 campaign with an overall record of 12-12.
