THE LEAD
The Lady Patriots improved their winning streak to four as they improved their season record to 5-1 after taking down Clayton State University in Atlanta, Georgia. DBU ran away with the doubles matches after a tight battle on the first court between the Lady Patriots pair, Anic Banic and
Lacey Sprinkel and CSU's Mets and Drozdava. Banic and Sprinkel inched away with a narrow, hard-fought, 9-8 (5), victory.
All six-singles court included competitive tennis. DBU was able to take 5 of the 6 matches against CSU. After taking the first set determinedly,
Liz Slaughter stayed controlled and finished off her match with a victory thus putting DBU at 6-0 and clinching the overall win.Â
