The Lady Patriots have won their fifth contest in a row on Saturday with a 6-3 victory over Heartland Conference opponent, Newman University. DBU took two of the three doubles matches before closing the day out by earning four of the six singles matches.

Lacey Sprinkel, stole a hard earned 8-6 battle in their doubles match-up. While the #3 combination of
Bianca Tijerina and
Skylar McDonald ran away with an 8-3 victory to give DBU their second doubles victory of the day.

Lacey Sprinkel gave DBU some momentum after outlasting Newman's Tskhakaia 7-6(5) before taking the victory with a 6-2 set win. #5
Liz Slaughter also gave the Lady Patriots a huge with a 7-5 and 6-2 set win.
