The DBU Women's Tennis earned another regional win against a formidable opponent in Texas A&M Kingsville, 4-3.
Claire Nguyen and
Kate Daugherty won their doubles match to put DBU up 1-0 heading into singles play. Kingsville won the first sets at line one, four, and five, while DBU won the first sets at two, three, and six.
After losing at line one, four, and five in straight sets it came down to
Adriana Carpenter at line three, and
Devon Austin-Canning at line six. Both athletes split sets and played full thirds, while Carpenter and Austin-Canning went onto win their respective matches 6-4 in the third set.
