Lady Patriots Fall to Hilltoppers in Four Sets, Win Streak Ends at Five

THE RUNDOWN
Saturday afternoon, DBU (11-5, 4-3 LSC) fell to St. Edward's (6-8, 3-6 LSC) in Austin, ending the Lady Patriots' winning streak. Amidst the loss, Paityn Winters recorded her team-leading ninth double-double on the season, dishing 13 assists and recording 11 digs.

Ella Swinn was a bright spot for DBU offensively, finishing with seven kills on 17 swings with no errors. Karly Wells was the lone Lady Patriot with double-digit kills, while St. Edward's had three attackers finish with at least ten tallies.

Kalin Hubbard had a monster day defensively, tying the team-season-high for total blocks in a single game with nine assisted blocks. Blue Anderson finished one shy of the team lead in digs with ten.
