UTPB Live Stats THE LEADThe Dallas Baptist Volleyball Team closed out their 2015 home schedule with a 3-1 win over Newman University, who sit in second place in the Heartland Conference. DBU is the only other team besides the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith to hand NU a Heartland Conference loss this season. The Lady Patriots will now embark on the last leg of the 2015 regular season as they play their final three matches on the road starting with the University of Texas-Permian Basin.
NICKS NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK...FOR THIRD TIME!Libero
Lauren Nicks continues her phenomenal season being named Heartland Conference Player of the Week for the second straight week, this time for her play against Texas Woman's University, the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, and Newman University during the week of October 26 - October 31. Nicks is the first freshman in DBU history to be named Heartland Conference Player of the Week three times in one year.

LADY PATRIOTS GO OVER 1,000 KILLSThe Lady Patriots recently eclipsed 1,000 kills this season after registering 58 kills in a win against the Newman Jets. DBU is third in the Heartland Conference in kills with 1,010.
SUPERIOR SERVICE ACESDBU currently has six players who have double figure service aces on the season.
Brooke Manley leads the Lady Patriots and is second in the Heartland Conference in service aces with 33, while
Madeline Dolberry is ninth in the conference with 16 service aces. Other players in double figures include

SCOUTING THE FALCONSUTPB sits in second to last place in the Heartland Conference, falling in eight of their last nine matches, with their most recent loss coming in a sweep against Lubbock Christian. The Falcons have been successful in service aces this year, ranking fourth in the Heartland Conference with 1.24 per set.
