The Patriots pitching trio of Palmer, Senior Brett Wade, and Haney pitched four hitless innings to close out the game, and only allowed one run in the seventh, to seal the 18-6 win.

The Patriots shut out the Tigers in the second game of the doubleheader. Senior Ryan Millard picked up the win for DBU after pitching five innings, allowing no runs on five hits, and striking out six.
